A Letter to the Year 2025
Dear 2025,
We need to talk. In past years, I have focused on resolutions that society pushes on us – the pursuit of a certain body image, professional achievement, or relationship status. But 2025 – this year I’d like to focus on me in a different way. I’d like to let loose, be carefree, and find happiness around every corner.
Our first issue of the year will help with my focus for sure! Find articles on:
Food Neutrality (page 07) – What is it, you say? It’s learning to not fall into the diet culture of calling foods “good” or “bad”. I will create a positive eating environment this year!
You are Ever Changing (page 20) – I want to feel less rushed, less stressed and less overwhelmed this year, and women’s health advocate, Carol Peat, will tell us how!
Where Energy Goes, Energy Flows (page 18) – This means that where I place my intention, momentum will ensue. Sounds great to me – I’m focusing on the positive, not negative, for 2025!
Three Things I’m Leaving in 2024 (page 08) – It feels so good to leave the emotional baggage behind. Pick up some inspiration and tips on how to do it from Jeremy McCall.
Creating Sustainable Resolutions (page 19) – See 2025 – this is what I’m talking about! Our resident dietitian talks about setting 90% goals (resolutions that you are 90% confident you can do daily). So let’s ditch those unrealistic resolutions we’ve set in the past (“I’ll never eat sugar again”?!?!)
Here’s wishing all of our Mom & Caregiver family a fun-filled, emotionally-fulfilling, action-packed, happiness-stacked 2025! We thank you for your unwavering support, and we promise to continue championing, advocating for, and encouraging you every step of the way on your parenting journey this year.
