Celebrate A 3rd Birthday at Walt Disney World!
I’ll be the first to tell you that there is magic to any age at Walt Disney World. But there’s a few extra special things about bringing your two year old – right before they turn three!
- You save money. Did you know that children under three can enter the parks for FREE at Walt Disney World? They don’t need park tickets, they don’t need their own Lightning Lane passes and they don’t even need specially ticketed event tickets (like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party). They just tag along with you as a guest of Mickey Mouse himself! You not only save on park tickets, but also at dining experiences. Children under three are free at buffet or family-service meals (including character dining experiences) and don’t need to be added on to dining plans. And as long as they start their trip as a two year old, this applies for their trip regardless of if they turn three mid-way through their Walt Disney World Resort adventure!
- The magic is still so alive at this age. I’m not sure if my daughter will remember the Walt Disney World trip we took right before her third birthday. Either way, the memories of that trip are some of the best of my life. I will never forget her eyes lighting up seeing Elsa make it snow or hearing her little voice yell “Weeee!” whenever the Skyliner took off from our resort. Take them while the magic is there in its fullest.
