Adam Farmer was a truck driver for the longest time – 20 years – and did renovations and woodworking in his spare time. He designed and rebuilt his whole house when he was not working. He soon realized his passion was for wood, and that is why he decided to get into woodworking, making tables, sofa tables, end tables, coffee tables, large boardroom tables , and charcuterie boards for home entertainment or caterers (up to six feet long!). His specialty is adding beautiful epoxy in amazing colours. AF Custom Wood Design was born.

Adam says, “There’s one thing about working with wood. It is actually not a job.” He quotes the famous saying, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” He’s not saying that being a small business owner is not hard work. He’s simply saying it is amazing to create something so beautiful as your job every day. “The passion I have for creating wood tables, etc., is that everyone gets to enjoy them every single day in their own home!”
