Beefy Minestrone Soup
Ingredients:
½ lb stewing beef
14 oz can diced tomatoes
1 cup each chopped onion and grated cabbage
1 each carrot, zucchini and potato, diced
¼ tsp each garlic powder, dried basil, dried oregano and pepper
1 ½ tsp salt
4 cups water
14 oz can kidney beans, drained
½ cup uncooked elbow macaroni
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, except beans and macaroni, in slow cooker. Stir well. Cover and cook on Low for 10-12 hours or High 5-6 hours. Turn heat to High and add beans and macaroni. Cook for 15-20 minutes until macaroni is tender.
