FA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA!

This is a great at-home holiday craft for school-agers because all you need is paper! Start by tracing their hands (or have them do each other’s if you have more than one child) onto construction paper or card stock. They can cut out these “mittens” and decorate them however they’d like. Next, they can trace a salad plate or bowl to cut out a face shape, and cut out any hat shape they’d like. They can also cut a circle from black paper (it can be as small or large as they’d like their singer’s mouth to be). Lastly, teach them how to cut spirals from paper to make boing-y curly hair. If you would like straight hair on yours, you could use yarn. Find an old piece of sheet music or print one from the internet. Then it’s just time to assemble everything together to complete your gorgeous piece of fa-la-la art!
