Here We Go, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!
It’s become tradition here at The Mom & Caregiver that we take a holiday song and change the lyrics to make it a true Mom & Caregiver original. So since Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas and New Year’s Eve are all steeped in tradition, we thought we’d continue the trend. Ladies and gentlemen, may we present “Let It Snow (Mom & Caregiver 2023 Remix)”!
Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the health benefits are delightful
So get those cheeks all aglow
And read “A Romp in the Snow”. (page 6)
Man it doesn’t show signs of stopping
And we all do so much shopping
So show your kids a new attitude
And teach them about gratitude. (page 17)
When we finally say goodnight
How I’ll hate going out in the storm
But I’ll know mindfulness is right
Because deep breathing is my norm! (page 15)
The fire is slowly dying
And cake pops we’re not buying
For the recipe we now know (page 14)
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Now, please don’t fret if the joy of the holidays isn’t your thing. Our December issue is also full of wonderful information on everything from forgiveness to self-love, from scoliosis to winter parasites (pages 12, 20, 21 and 22). We continue to be your parental encyclopedia of knowledge, your search engine of sharing. We are honoured to continue this into 2024 (our 26th year!). Please join us in our magazine, on our website and on our socials as we celebrate, encourage and support caregivers of all kinds!
