Monique Legault, Sales Representative, Thrive Realty Group

GRATITUDE … such a simple yet powerful word. 


Early in her career, Monique Legault met an amazing real estate mentor, Mike Ferry. At one of his seminars, a guest speaker said “Before your feet touch the ground each morning, make sure you smile and give thanks.” She took those words to heart and for over 10,000 mornings since, she starts each day this way. 


“When I look at the many blessings in my life, I must give thanks for the amazing career I’ve been enjoying for the past 40 years. My introduction to real estate began when I was hired as a secretary at a very busy office. Within a few months, I realized I wanted to be in the sales side of the business so I took the courses and obtained my license by the time I was 18 years old. When clients first met me they were surprised at how young I was so my mantra became “young and hard working!” By combining hard work with discipline and extensive training, I have developed strong negotiation and communication skills. This serves me well in helping clients navigate smoothly through what can be one of the most stressful things in life… buying and/or selling their home.” 


Besides listing/selling residential homes and income/commercial properties for her clients, Monique also began investing in real estate in her early 20s. She loves transforming a neglected home into a beautiful restoration! In her mid 30s, she stepped away from the industry to raise her three boys. She home schooled them for a few years and enjoyed travel with them (one highlight being a month they spent in Honduras and Guatemala – quite an education for all of them!) When she was ready to get back to work, she was honoured to come back to the business as a Real Estate Coach for the Mike Ferry Organization. 


“I love setting exciting goals for myself, and recently checked off another item on my bucket list – walking the El Camino Trail through Spain. I walked 775 km. in 25 days. I have so many blessings for which to be thankful and I bring this gratitude to work with me each day, continuing to make buying and selling homes a wonderful experience for my clients.”
