Pancake o’ Lanterns
Ingredients:
Pancake batter (use your own recipe and simply make from an “add water only” mix
Syrup
Whipped cream
Chocolate chips
Fruit of your choice (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, bananas, pomegranate seeds, coconut, thin apple slices, clementine sections all work great!)
It’s as easy as this! Simply cook up some pancakes adding a little extra glob on top of your circle to look like the pumpkin stem. Serve them up to your family and let them be creative. They can use all the toppings to make funny or scary jack o’ lantern faces. Then eat and enjoy, basking in the glory that your kids had a treat, but also ate some fruit!
