Pro Painting “Tips”
It’s a rainy day and the kids are bored. It’s time to search around the house for things you have right at home that can turn into a great craft activity! Here’s all you’ll need:
Q-Tips
Muffin tray
Paint
Kids are thrilled by any tiny change to the everyday. So keep the paintbrushes tucked away and use Q-Tips instead. These tiny wonders are a great way to develop fine motor skills. Fill up a muffin tray with different colours of paint and let the fun begin. Challenge them to print letters or make dots or stripes. Make comments like “I see you made a skinny purple line” or “You filled your page with black”. Ask questions like “What happens when you mix those colours?” or “How does that Q-Tip feel?”
