Raspberry Cream Cheese Cookies

1 cup butter
1-250g cream cheese
1/4 cup white sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 cup raspberry jam (or any kind your family loves)
Icing sugar

– cream butter and cheese together, add sugar and beat lightly
-combine flour and baking powder. Stir into creamed mixture, blending well
-press into ball, chill overnight
– roll out dough 1/8″ thick on floured surface. Cut with a 3″ cookie cutter into squares.
-place 1/2 tsp of jam in the center of each cookie and fold it in half. Press the edges together
-place on lightly greased cookie sheet
-bake at 375 for 10 to 15 min, usually closer to 10
Cool and dust with icing sugar
