Eat More Veggies This Summer!

Summer is finally here! The kids are off. The sun is shining. All the feel-good feels are here. I love summer! 

One thing I love the most is all the fresh local veggies… some of which will be coming from my very first veggie garden this year thanks to a green-thumbed friend! I find this time of year is easier to eat more vegetables because they are so fresh and readily available. 

It’s also a great time of year to remind you all about the best hack to eating more veggies every day – the famous veggie bucket! The trick is to fill up your fridge with healthy options that are EASY, so when those snack attacks come along, #healthysnackforthewin!

It’s so easy to do…

  1. Load up on veggies at the market, grocery store (or your very own garden) once a week. 
  2. Clean and prep veggies.
  3. Store in fridge for healthy snacks. 
  4. Enjoy with Greek Yogurt dip, hummus, Tzatziki or on their own!

Try: carrots, cucumber, bell peppers, celery, radishes, zucchini, cabbage, asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli, fennel, snow peas, sugar snap peas, cherry tomatoes… the list goes on, and on, and on…
